Curriculum

The 2024 Curriculum Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) I Clinical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, was designed and developed based on the 2018 Curriculum Book for Clinical Microbiology Specialist Doctor Education Program and the 2019 Clinical Microbiology Specialist Doctor Professional Education Standards compiled by the Collegium of the Association of Indonesian Clinical Microbiology Specialists (PAMKI) and in accordance with the Indonesian Higher Education National Standards (Permenristekdikti No.44 Tahun
2015).

PPDS I Clinical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, uses a competency-based curriculum that does not only refer to cognitive areas, but also to psychomotor and affective ones. The resident-centered learning model (student-centered learning). The main focus during the education process is work-based education and is carried out in health care settings (laboratories and hospitals). Graduates are expected to have a competency level according to the standards of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). In this way, students are expected to achieve the required competencies and work according to their competencies.
